How this ranking is built

  • Games are ranked on the aggregated critic score out of 100 imported from IGDB and Metacritic, never on Tier's own grades.
  • A game only enters the ranking with at least 80 external ratings, so a single enthusiastic review never outranks a proven classic.
  • Community grades from F to S are shown next to every game, and only stated as a fact above 5 Tier ratings.
  • Release window covered: 1970 to 2026.
  • 6 games are listed on this page, carrying 3,213 ratings between them.
  • Rankings are recomputed hourly; this one was last rebuilt on 29 September 2026.

04 Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons S Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons 2013 · 766 ratings Brothers is presented from a third-person view overlooking the two brothers. The brothers are moved individually by two thumbsticks on the controller. The controller triggers also cause the respective brother to interact with the game world, such as talking to a non-player character or grabbing onto a ledge or object. The older brother is the stronger of the two and can pull levers or boost his younger brother to higher spaces, while the younger one can pass between narrow bars. The player progresses by manipulating the two brothers at the same time to complete various puzzles, often requiring the player to manipulate both brothers to perform differing functions (such as one distracting a hostile non-player character while the other makes their way around). Should either brother fall from a great height or get injured, the game restarts at a recent checkpoint. All of the in-game dialogue is spoken in a fictional language, thus the story is conveyed through actions, gestures and expressions. 83 /100 05 Journey to the Savage Planet Journey to the Savage Planet 2020 · 215 ratings Onward To Adventure In this colorful, co-op adventure game you play as the newest recruit to Kindred Aerospace.
