About Tier, the video game tracker and gaming journal

Tier is a free video game tracker and gaming journal. You log the games you play, rate them on an F to S grade scale, write reviews and build lists, on the web at yourtier.com and in the Tier apps for iOS and Android. Tier is published by Toutdoo SRL, a company based in Brussels, Belgium.

What you can do on Tier

  • Keep a game journal. Every game you add has a status (to play, playing, played or abandoned) and, if you want, a rating and a review.
  • Rate games from F to S. A rating is a whole number from 1 to 10, shown as a letter grade. A game's community grade is the average of its players' ratings, see Tier grades explained.
  • Write reviews and build lists. Other players can read your reviews and lists, like them and comment on them.
  • Follow other players. See what the people you follow are playing and how they grade it.
  • Find your next game. Browse the game catalogue, the best games by genre, platform and year, the game series and the catalogue statistics.

One account on the web and in the apps

The website and the apps share the same account and the same data: a game logged on your phone shows up on the web, and the other way round. The apps are free on the App Store and on Google Play.

Who publishes Tier

Tier is published by Toutdoo SRL, a company based in Brussels, Belgium. The service is governed by Belgian law, and the publisher and hosting details are listed in the legal notice.

For any question, a partnership or a correction, write to contact@yourtier.com. Help with your account is in the Help Center.

Where the data comes from

Game information (titles, release dates, platforms, genres, covers and summaries) is imported from the public game databases IGDB and RAWG and from Steam. Play times come from HowLongToBeat, critic scores from IGDB and Metacritic. Grades, reviews, journals and lists are written by Tier players. How these sources turn into rankings is explained in our methodology.

What Tier is not

Several products share the name. Tier at yourtier.com is a video game platform, and it has no connection with:

  • Tier Mobility, the scooter and bike sharing company now merged into Dott;
  • TierMaker, the tier list image maker;
  • pricing, billing or subscription management tools for software companies.
