Year in Tier 2019
Year in Tier is the yearly recap of the Tier community: the games players logged the most in 2019, the ones they rated highest and how their grades spread from S to F. Every figure comes from public player journals and shows the sample behind it.
How this is measured
Source: the public journals of Tier players whose profile is public. Private and followers-only journals and profiles are never counted, and neither are games hidden from the catalog.
A game counts in the year of its finish date, else of its start date, else of the day it was logged. A journal holds a single entry per game, so every player counts once per game.
Best rated: the mean of the players' ratings out of 10, only for games rated by at least 5 players in the year. The letter uses the Tier scale: S from 9, A from 8, B from 6.5, C from 5, D from 3, F below.
Most abandoned: hidden until the year holds at least 50 abandoned entries (0 so far).
