Fallout Tactics: Brotherhood of Steel is a Role-playing (RPG) and RPG game developed by Micro Forté and published by 14 Degrees East, released on 1 March 2001.

This is a Tactical Squad-Based Combat comes to the Fallout Universe. You are the wretched refuse. You may be born from dirt, but we will forge you into steel. You will learn to bend; if not you, will you break. In these dark times, the Brotherhood - your Brotherhood - is all that stands between the rekindled flame of civilization and the howling, radiated wasteland. Your weapons will become more than your tools, they will become your friends. You will use your skills to inspire the lowly and protect the weak... whether they like it or not. Your squadmates will be more dear to you than your kin and for those that survive there will be honor, respect and the spoils of war.

Generations after nuclear war devastated the world, a splinter group of the Brotherhood of Steel is scattered across the American Midwest when their airships are downed in a storm. The survivors regroup near the ruins of Chicago and found a new chapter, one willing to recruit hardy tribal outsiders to swell their ranks. The player takes the role of a fresh Brotherhood Initiate in the year 2197, placed in command of a squad of fellow recruits. As the Brotherhood works to bring the surrounding wasteland under its protection, the squad is sent to crush the raiders and rising threats that stand in its way.
