Retelling the early adventures of the martial artist Goku, the story follows him as he confronts the sinister Red Ribbon Army, a militaristic organization racing to gather the seven Dragon Balls and seize their world-changing power. When the mystical orbs fall into even darker hands, Goku must square off against the Demon King Piccolo, whose ambitions threaten the entire world. Traveling across varied lands and testing his strength in martial arts tournaments, Goku battles the henchmen and monsters standing between him and the villains' schemes.
