FTL: Faster Than Light is een indie en Rollenspel (RPG)-game ontwikkeld en uitgegeven door Subset Games, verschenen op 14 september 2012.

In FTL you experience the atmosphere of running a spaceship trying to save the galaxy. It's a dangerous mission, with every encounter presenting a unique challenge with multiple solutions. What will you do if a heavy missile barrage shuts down your shields? Reroute all power to the engines in an attempt to escape, power up additional weapons to blow your enemy out of the sky, or take the fight to them with a boarding party? This "spaceship simulation roguelike-like" allows you to take your ship and crew on an adventure through a randomly generated galaxy filled with glory and bitter defeat.

FTL: Faster Than Light casts the player as the captain of a spacecraft belonging to the Galactic Federation, which is losing a war against a hostile faction known as the Rebellion. The ship's crew has intercepted a data packet carrying information that could turn the conflict in the Federation's favor. Racing to deliver it, the crew must travel across several sectors of space toward Federation headquarters while a large rebel fleet pursues close behind. Along the way, the ship faces hostile vessels, hazards, and difficult choices, with survival depending on the captain's decisions.
