A hundred years after the elven Queen Brimhil sacrificed her youth to restore the dying Tree of Life, tensions between humans and elves have grown into deep mistrust. Sir Lloyd von Roiental, a young knight of Astonishia, is tasked with escorting the magical Wand of Kinan, but the mission fails when the artifact is stolen. As Lloyd sets out to retrieve it, he forms a party and uncovers a larger conflict led by Francis De La Cross, a half-elf seeking divine power to restore the elves’ glory and repay the injustices they have suffered. While his goal stems from real discrimination, his methods threaten to destabilize the world. Lloyd’s journey evolves into a struggle not only to recover the artifact, but to decide the future balance between races—whether it will be driven by revenge or coexistence.
