Jim Raynor, a marshal turned rebel, leads a vigilante crusade against the Terran Dominion and its ruler Arcturus Mengsk. Haunted by betrayal and the memory of allies lost, Raynor operates on the fringes of space, building his forces and searching for a way to bring down the regime.
