Turok

A reboot of the long-running series loosely based on the comic books, Turok is a science-fiction first-person shooter that casts the player as Joseph Turok, a Kiowa space marine with a troubled past. Turok is part of an elite team dispatched to a remote planet with a single objective: to capture General Roland Kane, a notorious war criminal who also happens to be Turok's former commanding officer and mentor. The mission goes wrong from the start when the team's ship crash lands on the alien world, scattering the soldiers across hostile terrain. There Turok discovers that the planet is teeming with dinosaurs, savage predators that turn every step into a fight for survival. Caught between the roaming beasts and Kane's heavily armed private army, Turok must battle his way through dense jungles and treacherous ruins, using stealth, firepower, and even the dinosaurs themselves as weapons in his hunt to bring his former mentor to justice.
