Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch is an enhanced version of the Nintendo DS game Ni no Kuni: Dominion of the Dark Djin that was only released in Japan.

After a young boy named Oliver loses his mother, his tears bring a fairy companion named Drippy to life, who reveals the existence of a parallel magical world threatened by a dark wizard called Shadar. Learning that people in his world have "soulmates" bound to counterparts in the other, Oliver sets out on a journey there in the hope that saving a great sage who resembles his mother might somehow bring her back. Guided by Drippy and joined by new friends along the way, he travels a vast and wondrous land, mending the broken hearts left in Shadar's wake as he grows from a grieving child into a courageous young hero.
