Über Blitz: The League II

Blitz: The League II ist ein Sport-Spiel entwickelt und veröffentlicht von Midway Games, erschienen am 13 Oktober 2008.

Blitz: The League II continues the franchise legacy as the ultimate alternative to the watered-down, licensed competition. In addition to an all-new story mode penned by Peter Egan (ESPN's Playmakers), Blitz: The League II features include: Precision-Aim Tackles, player-controlled touchdown celebrations, an enhanced on-the-field Clash Mode, online multiplayer capabilities, expanded rosters with all-new personalities, and the return of a cornerstone of the Blitz franchise...Late Hits! Football legend Lawrence Taylor returns as the game's cover-athlete and star linebacker for the New York Nightmare, Quentin Sands, along with a star-studded supporting cast.

After playing college football and entering the prestigious professional football organization known as 'The League', the rising star nicknamed 'Franchise' (your created player) is eyed to play for The League commissioner's pet project team, the Los Angeles Riot. However, Franchise refuses and will only join The League if he can play for his hometown team (one that you, the player, create) Having gotten on the commissioner's bad side by refusing the Riot, Franchise will have to battle his way up to the top of The League and win the championship, all the while facing scrutiny and sabotage from the commissioner.
