Strider Hiryu, the original assassin that inspired many third person action titles returns in a completely new game for a new generation of gamers as he takes on the Grand Master Meio. Use an arsenal of moves and weapons against your enemies whilst slicing your way through a massive interconnected game world. From scorching enemies to freezing them in their tracks or deflecting a host of bullets, the indestructible plasma charged cypher offers a range of action tactics for players to use against their foes. In a dystopian future ruled by the tyrannical Grandmaster Meio, the elite ninja organization known as the Striders dispatches its most skilled assassin to end his reign. That agent is Hiryu, a master of stealth and swordsmanship, sent alone into the sprawling, heavily fortified metropolis of Kazakh City to carry out his deadly mission. Slipping past the Grandmaster's forces, Hiryu must cut a path through legions of soldiers, machines, and lethal defenses that stand between him and his target. Retelling the core saga of the Strider legend, the tale follows one lone warrior's relentless infiltration of an oppressive empire, as he draws ever closer to a confrontation with the ruthless despot at its heart.
